staffing needs, identifying and recruiting qualified candidates and
facilitating a successful hire. We go the extra mile at Herrerias & Associates,
and ongoing follow up and employee retention coaching is included in our
Executive Search services.

How do we find the right person for your
search?
Crafting our search methodology has taken over twenty
years. Our processes are a reflection of our values, our experiences (both
successes and failures!) and of being a "student of the business"
for as long as we have been in the search business.
We are proud of our screening methodology, which we
believe is unique in the search marketplace. We have developed proprietary
technology for screening candidates who will be in leadership roles.
Screening is critical, and yet it is only one of ten
steps that we take to deliver the highest quality on your search project.

When should you contact H&A about your
search?
When should you contact your Search Manager at Herrerias
& Associates? When you begin planning your work force needs. When you
have questions around creating a position description. At least 90 days out
from when you want the successful candidate on board and thirty days before
you intend to begin the search.
Truth be known, the most productive way to work with a
retained search firm is to establish an ongoing dialogue around work-force
planning. The perfect time to hire an individual is a product of both internal
client needs and external marketplace resources. We bring half of the
dialogue to the conversation. Thus we could be in an ongoing, perhaps
quarterly, dialogue about internal and external forces influencing your
search needs. Another benefit to you of an ongoing dialogue is the
resultant strong working relationship, a hallmark of Herrerias &
Associates and great asset to you.
Who will you work with within H&A?
Herrerias & Associates delivers search services to
our clients through four high-performing teams.
- The
Marketing Team works closely with clients to define their needs, and
then the
- Search
Management Team works to fill the needs defined above, working with
the
- Research
Team, who assists in identifying candidates not already in our
database and/or not actively looking for a job.

Administration Team supports all the other teams, interfaces with
clients during search projects

client's offices and in our own offices. Our recruiters are meeting
candidates in our offices or in far away locations convenient for the
targeted candidates.
