Purpose and Mission

Our Purpose:

To understand our sense of Purpose one needs to know our vision, values, mission and strategies. As good leadership consultants, we will mix theory with application as we share with you our "Purpose" at Herrerias & Associates!

Success was once defined as the "progressive realization of a worthwhile goal or cause." Your Values tell you what is worthwhile. Your Vision is the way you see the world as it could be, somewhere in the future. When we combine Vision with Values, your resultant action is your Mission, or cause. Your steps on the journey to success are your Strategic Objectives. You progressively realize success toward your goal by measuring your progress in each critical objective.

Our Vision:

Herrerias & Associates believes in a world where diverse people work in highly productive teams to build successful business enterprises, thereby strengthening their communities, economies and the quality of life for all.

Our Values:
  • We believe leaders are personally responsible for teamwork, integrity, collaboration, life balance and mentoring others on their journeys.
  • We believe in the American free-enterprise culture that is founded on liberty, freedom of personal choice and the unlimited opportunities for success.
  • We believe that freedom is earned through structure and by taking responsibility for ourselves and those around us.
  • We believe that everyone has the potential to be wildly successful in their careers…they just need to be in the right environment with the right leadership.

A mission statement is the product of our view of the world and our values. The mission is the answer to the question, "So What?" after reading our Vision and Values. What will we do to live our values? What action will we take toward making our vision a reality? The mission statement is our resultant "call to action" that focuses us on living our values on the way to making our vision a reality. Thus,

Our Mission:
  • To be the most popular resource for recruiting, coaching and sustaining high-performing leadership teams for dynamic Northern Bay Area companies;
  • To do so by building three divisions: Executive Search, Leadership Consulting and Project Staffing;
  • To be an example for our clients in using technology to create space for service delivery both physically and virtually, thereby improving the quality of life for many.

Strategic Objectives are measurable steps on the path to the Mission. Each one is critical to the success of accomplishing the mission. An organization usually can only focus on three to six objectives at a time. Thus,
